[edit] MS Paint Masterpieces's New Domain

During the last week of 2008, DisgruntledFerret acquired his own domain as a start in making his comic section even more independent of Bob and George.

[edit] End of the Bob and George Reruns

On Saturday, December 20, 2008, Dave ended the rerunning of the Bob and George comic opting to put up a quasi-static navigational Flash file for users to use to jump into the Bob and George Archives. All available commentary Dave had written for the rerun of Bob and George from this point onward has now been unlocked and are on display in the archives. If Dave has updates to the commentary in the archives, he'll note it on the main page blurb and in the RSS feed. And if a Hosted Comic updates, the blurb and RSS feed will mention which Hosted Comic updated.

[edit] End of Subcomics/Fancomics Distinction

Back in December 2007, Dave formally ended the distinction between Subcomics and Fancomics and is now calling all the comics he hosts Hosted Comics.

[edit] The End of Bob and George, the Comic Strip!

On Saturday, July 28, 2007, Bob and George ended it's slightly over seven year run on the internet. Some people are speculating/worried about the future of the main site, but Dave has said that he plans on going into re-runs with all new commentary added to the classic strips along with keeping the community forums and chat room (#bobandgeorge at irc2.darkmyst.org) going.

Also the Subcomics and Fancomics of Bob and George will still be updated, but whether if Dave manually updates them or if the authors of said comics will be able to update themselves remains to be seen. Other future plans for the main site include finally finishing and releasing the Cataclysm Movies that everybody has been waiting years for.
