Proto Man and Roll want to have a coffee break without anything happening, but Mega Man X, Bass, and two of Mega Man come back to the present. It turns out that the second Mega Man is the one back from the past, and the first one is the one that has yet to start his trip.
All is forgotten when the festivities begin. When they end, though, Bass goes into the past, Mega Man and X follow, and the Author poofs away just before a temporal inversion wipes through, killing everyone again.
